Johannesburg to Victoria Falls

From bustling Johannesburg, we travel through the Kalahari Desert to Maun, gateway to the Okavango Delta. Explore the waterways of this wilderness area by traditional mokoro (canoe), spotting hippos and maybe even a sitatunga(antelope). Next we will visit Chobe National Park for an evening river cruise and game drive before ending our journey in Victoria Falls. The sight and sound of 550,000 cubic metres of water cascading down every minute is truly incredible; combine this with adventure sports and game viewing for a unique holiday destination

Day One
Leave Johannesburg and South Africa and enter Botswana

From Palapye across the Kalahari to Maun

Day Three
Into the Okavango Delta for a true wilderness experience

Day Four
A full day of guided game walks and swimming in the delta

Back to Maun for a well earned shower and a cold drink

Day Six
Across the Magkadikadi salt pan to the Chobe river for a river cruise

Day Seven
Cross into Zimbabwe and see the mighty Zambezi as it roars at Victoria Falls. As the trip finishes on this day you may wish to fly out a few days later in order to enjoy the many activities in the area.
