10 day Egypt tour

Cairo is a mix of historical and modern cultural sights. This includes the Pyramids, the Hanging Church, Saladin's Citadel, the Virgin Mary's Tree, the Sphinx, and Heliopolis, Al-Azhar, the Mosque of Amr ibn al-A'as, Saqqara, the Cairo Tower, and the Old City. Cairo is nicknamed "The City of A Thousand Minarets".

Evening Free - Take a walk to Cairos main square for a bite to eat or just relax and enjoy a drink and a meal at the hotel

2 Visit The Pyramids / Sphinx
Egyptian Museum (Mask of King Tut is here along with thousands of other items)

3 Explore the many attractions of the old coptic area, like the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue (The Jewish Temple).

Catch overnight train to Aswan - leaves early evening

Whilst all our tours can be run to suit clients own dates. To meet cruise schedules day 5 of this tour (the cruise start) must be a Monday or a Wednesday. If this tour does not fit your needs - we can add extra days at the start to make it fit if required.

Return to Aswan

Check in on our Cruise Ship in the morning

Visit the Aswan High Dam.
Visit Philae temple.
Set sail for Kom Ombo

Visit the twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek.
We continue our cruise to Edfu, where we dock for the night.

Trains : on 3/4 star packages, overnight train accommodation is a reclining aircraft style seat - which is upgradable on request (in advance or on arrival) to a private sleeper cabin. 5 Star packages include Private Sleeper Cabins for all overnight train journeys.
