Week 1 South Africa, Zimbabwe
Leave Johannesburg for two nights in Kruger Park, onto Zimbabwe to Bulawayo and Rhodes Matopos Park and Victoria Falls.
Week 2 Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa
From the Falls to Chobe River for a river cruise and the Kalahari to Maun and the Okavango Delta for a true wilderness experience with guided game walks and swimming in the delta. On to Khama Rhino Sanctuary, cross the border to South Africa to finish in Johannesburg. |

Vehicles & group size - We travel in a minibus no aircon, the weather in this region is pleasant. The vehicles have 2 rows of seats. Dugout canoes in the Delta
Mucking in - Our tour are based on client participation and as an active member of the group, everyone helps out with the running of the tour.
Eating – we normally have breakfast and dinner at the hotel, tent or wherever we stay. For lunch normally we stop at local eating houses and truck stops where you buy your meal, its cheap (about $5) and fun. Meals supplied are indicated by (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner)
Local time - Local time in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana is G.M.T plus 2 hours
Sleeping – this trip involves staying in hotels, permanent tents and cottages. |
