Alaska Hiking tour luxury Hotel

On this hiking tour you will experience the spectacular landscapes and National Parks of Alaska and the Yukon. Follow the trails of the old gold diggers and explorers. You will experience the massive mountain ranges and glaciers of the Northern American Continent. Your guide will lead you through wild and untouched territory where you can watch bears, wolves and caribous. Hike with a small group through the Denali National Park with its exciting wildlife. Only on foot can we experience the rugged beauty of this fascinating part of the Yukon and Alaska.

Day 01: Arrival in Whitehorse Individual arrival in Whitehorse, at the airport you will be met by our local tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 02: Whitehorse - Skagway After breakfast we will explore the capital of the Yukon and then start on the first part of our trip driving south to Skagway / Alaska on the Klondike Highway.

Day 03: Skagway - Haines Junction Skagway - once the gate to the greatest gold rush of all time! The Chilkoot Trail was once the way leading to the gold rivers.

Day 04: Haines Junction / Kluane National Park Today we will spend all day hiking through the Kluane National Park which is the largest national park Canada.
Hiking time around 5 hours, Hiking length around 14km.

Day 05: Haines Junction - Whitehorse We will spend the morning hiking another trail in the Kluane National Park called the Auriol Trail.
Hiking time around 4 hours, Hiking length around 12km.

Day 06: Whitehorse - Dawson City
Hiking time around 2-3 hours, Hiking length around 6km.

Day 07: Dempster Highway After getting up real early we will drive up the Dempster Highway. We will start our hike at the foot of the Tombstone Mountains.
Hiking time around 4 hours, Hiking length around 10km.

Day 08: Dawson City - Tok Today we will leave the Klondike and continue on a ferry over the Yukon River on to the " Top of the World Highway
During this drive we will have many opportunities for short hikes along the way.

Day 09: Tok - Anchorage Going west on the Glenn Highway we travel to Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska.

Day 10: Anchorage - Seward Today on our way to Seward we will see the magnificent Turnagain Arm which is known for its powerful tidal waves.

Day 11: Seward Today you will have the opportunity to take advantage of many optional tours.
Hiking time around 3-4 hours, Hiking length around 10 km.

Day 12: Seward - Denali National Park We are leaving the Pacific coastline with its unique climate and are heading north on the Seward Highway and the George Parks Highway to the Denali National Park.
Hiking time around 2 hours, Hiking length around 4 km.

Day 13: Denali National Park One of the many highlights on this trip.
Hiking time around 3-4 hours, Hiking length around 11km.

Day 14: Denali - Anchorage We will reach Anchorage in the early afternoon where you will have more opportunities to explore this great city.

Day 15: Departure Anchorage Transfer to airport or connecting program.
