The Museum of SJTU’s History was inaugurated in April 1996 at the Xuhui Campus and was remodeled in April 2016. In April 2021, a new museum covering 2,350 square meters was built inside the Wenbo Building at the Minhang campus.
SJTU Museum is a comprehensive museum for collection, exhibition, research, teaching, academic and cultural exchange. Currently, it has a collection of over 3,300 items including archives, paintings and manuscripts from celebrities.
C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum was jointly founded by The Tung Foundation (HK) and ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. It’s located in New Zhong Yuan on Xuhui Campus and was officially opened on January 18, 2003.
Cheng Ji Art Museum, located at Siyuan Lake in Minhang Campus of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, was donated by Mr. Cheng Ji, a contemporary Chinese-American watercolor master and lifelong academician of American Academy of Art. Officially opened on April 8th, 1999.
Qian Xuesen Library & Museum, located in ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ (Xuhui Campus), was completed and open to the public on December 11, 2011- the 100th anniversary of Qian’s birth.
